Dakota Gold™ silica sand is mined south of Elgin, ND and processed at our Elgin plant. The sand meets and exceeds USGA specifications. The product can also be blended with Dakota Peat to hold water and nutrients for your greens. The golden sand color provides a natural appearance that appeals to the golf industry. Dakota Gold™ sand is made up of sub round shaped silica sand that is always quarried from the same source to ensure consistency and performance. Our sand is an environmentally friendly product with silica content that makes the sand hard and resistant to weathering and freeze-thaw conditions.

Dakota Gold™ Top Dress

Dakota Gold™ is becoming the silica sand of choice for greens dressing in the Midwest United States due to its consistency and durability including Bully Pulpit Golf Course in Medora, ND.

Application

Try our Dakota Gold™/Dakota Peat blend. The blend is made up of sub round shaped silica sand that is custom blended with peat moss to provide the perfect mix for your construction or top dress needs. The Dakota Gold™/Dakota Peat blend offers the easy addition of nutrients to your greens.
